Coleman Construction is seeking an organized, motivated, and dependable Project Manager to join our team in the DFW Metro Area. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet company and client expectations.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of construction project management experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from initial planning through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, clients, and field personnel.
- Monitor project progress and address scheduling, quality, and budget concerns.
- Review project plans, specifications, and documentation.
- Track materials, labor, and project costs.
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to management and clients.
- Identify potential project issues and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and reports.
- Assist with estimating, purchasing, change orders, and other project-related activities as needed.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and to the expected quality standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of construction project management experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and team members.
- Proficiency with common computer and office applications.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience managing projects in the DFW construction market.
- Experience with construction scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and project documentation.
Compensation
Starting salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
