Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming freshly poured concrete into smooth, durable surfaces that meet precise specifications. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring quality craftsmanship on a variety of projects including commercial, residential, and restoration sites. Responsibilities

Apply finishing techniques to concrete surfaces, including smoothing, troweling, and edging to achieve desired textures and finishes.
Install rebar and metal reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics to ensure structural integrity.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely for mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete.
Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately.
Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and curing processes while maintaining strict safety standards on-site.
Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for placement and finishing of concrete materials.
Collaborate with carpenters, masons, welders, and other trades to coordinate project activities efficiently.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in concrete finishing and construction.
Experience with construction estimating processes to assist in project planning and material procurement.
Proficiency in rebar installation, metal stud framing, masonry work, plastering, stucco application, and tile laying.
Skilled in the operation of heavy equipment such as concrete pumps and mixers; familiar with heavy lifting techniques.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; knowledge of schematics is a plus.
Knowledge of flooring installation, trim carpentry, caulking, roofing, restoration techniques, and framing carpentry.
Familiarity with the use of hand tools like trowels, floats, screeds as well as power tools including mixers and grinders.
Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols; commercial driving skills are advantageous.
Basic welding skills; understanding of schematics related to construction systems is beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship throughout each project phase.
