Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding operations across a variety of projects, ensuring all work meets rigorous safety standards and quality specifications. Duties
- Perform MIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), Stick, TIG, and pipe welding in accordance with project specifications and industry standards such as ASME and NFPA codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and procedures.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other fabrication equipment with precision.
- Execute pipe threading, pipe fitting, pipe welding, soldering, tube bending, and pipe installation tasks for plumbing, HVAC systems, fire sprinkler fitting, and pipeline projects.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations including power tool safety protocols and NFPA standards to ensure a safe working environment on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
- Assist with rigging, material handling, and assembly tasks necessary for construction or manufacturing projects.
- Conduct routine maintenance of welding equipment and ensure compliance with all safety protocols during operation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, Stick welding, TIG welding, and pipe welding within construction or manufacturing environments.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of pipefitting, fabrication processes, HVAC systems, fire sprinkler fitting, and plumbing installation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to piping and pressure vessels; familiarity with NFPA standards for fire protection systems is a plus.
- Experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments with a focus on safety protocol adherence.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for assembly or fabrication tasks; experience with rigging is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as required by project demands.

Pay: $14.50 - $22.00 per hour
