Our solutions support the electric power generation industry and are used in demanding environments, including gas and steam turbines, power plants and other industrial equipment, helping ensure the reliability and performance of critical power generation equipment.
To strengthen our team in the USA, we are looking for reliable and motivated Insulation Installers who enjoy practical work, take responsibility and want to develop their skills in an international environment.
Your responsibilities
- Install technical insulation systems on gas and steam turbines, power plants and other industrial equipment
- Measure, cut, fabricate and fit insulation materials according to project requirements
- Modify and adjust insulation systems on site to achieve a precise fit
- Read and implement technical drawings, blueprints and installation documentation
- Work safely with hand tools, power tools, ladders and scaffolding where required
- Ensure high standards of quality, safety and workmanship
- Work closely with installers, mechanics, supervisors and other trades on site
- Document work progress and report technical issues or deviations
Your qualifications
- Practical experience in technical insulation, industrial assembly, mechanical construction or a related trade
- Experience as an insulation installer, mechanic, carpenter, sheet metal worker, pipefitter or in a comparable hands-on profession is an advantage
- Relevant vocational training is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Confident use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to understand technical drawings, blueprints and work instructions
- Good physical fitness for demanding installation work, including lifting, climbing and working at heights
- Reliable, independent and safety-conscious approach to work
- Good teamwork and communication skills in an international environment
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the USA, Canada and Mexico and work away from home for several weeks at a time
- Valid passport and the ability to meet the applicable entry and travel requirements for international assignments, including travel to Canada and Mexico
- Good English skills are an advantage

- Competitive hourly pay: $22–$32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Overtime: Hours worked over 40 hours per workweek are compensated at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate, in accordance with applicable law
- Assignment-based work: The workflow is mostly seasonal, with heavier work periods in spring and fall, allowing for periods of ample downtime to enjoy home life during the summer and holidays. Project assignments can vary, and some offseason assignments may overlap with holidays due to the critical nature of our customers’ reliability demands in the power generation industry.
