Role: Solar Installer (Must Have MA Journeyman License)

Compensation: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour, plus overtime
Job Overview
Our client, a self-performing, growing, regional EPC specializing in commercial solar and energy infrastructure, is looking to bring on a number of Solar Installers to support a large, upcoming commercial solar project in the Boston area. This is an initial two-month contract with our client with possibilities of long-term employment based on performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Following all manufacturer guidelines, installing racking and railing equipment, inverters and other electrical equipment, solar modules, and any other mechanical or structural mounting systems for PV arrays
- Completing the electrical wiring of solar arrays and BOS (balance of systems) equipment
- Clearly communicating directions to the installation crew members
- Taking pictures and documenting all work completed and uploading the data to the internal company database
- Ensuring all safety standards are met and adhered to
- Ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code, site-specific safety plans, and other applicable laws, codes, regulations, and industry standards
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- An active and verifiable Massachusetts Journeyman Electrical License
- Experience on commercial solar installation projects
- The ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials
- Communication, collaboration, and detail-orientation skills
Compensation & Benefits
- This Solar Installer role has an hourly wage of $40.00 to $45.00 per hour, plus overtime
