Service Technician – HVAC, Heating & Plumbing – Osterville, MA

Carl F. Riedell & Son is hiring an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team in Osterville, MA. We’re looking for a skilled HVAC, heating, and plumbing professional who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and helping customers keep their homes running comfortably and safely.

If you’re someone who can walk into a service call, assess the situation, figure out what’s wrong, and get the job done right, we’d like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC, heating, and plumbing systems
Troubleshoot boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning systems, water heaters, and plumbing equipment
Perform routine maintenance and service work
Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions
Use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
Explain repairs, recommendations, and options to customers
Complete service paperwork and document work accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
Follow company safety procedures, applicable codes, and manufacturer specifications

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of residential HVAC, heating, and/or plumbing service experience
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Experience servicing heating and cooling equipment and plumbing systems
Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and clean driving record
Appropriate Massachusetts licenses or certifications for your area of expertise
EPA certification preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
Dependable, professional, and organized
Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
