The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. As a Steel Framer, you will play a crucial role in building structures by installing frameworks, walls, and other essential components. Your expertise in various carpentry techniques and proficiency with power tools will be vital in ensuring high-quality workmanship. Rafters, Valleys, Hips, Metal Framing experience. Pay depends on experience
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to construct frameworks for buildings.
- Perform frame carpentry tasks including the installation of walls, floors, and roofs.
- Execute trim carpentry tasks to finish interiors with precision and detail.
- Restore and repair existing structures as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- 5 YEARS Experience in Steel Framing
- Proven experience in frame carpentry or related fields is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to carpentry work.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively.
