Craftsmen Contractors is seeking a highly qualified and detail-oriented QC Manager to lead our quality assurance and control initiatives within our manufacturing operations. Must be willing to travel and work for plumbing projects at data centers and other construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and maintenance of rigorous quality standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and legal requirements. This role is vital in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and regulatory adherence. The QC Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams to uphold product integrity, safety, and quality throughout all stages of production.
This is a direct hire position.
Pay: $105,000 - $125,000 annual salary depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, and other relevant standards
- Lead comprehensive quality audits to evaluate compliance with internal policies and external regulations such as FDA regulations
- Establish and maintain quality control procedures for manufacturing processes, including inspection protocols and testing methods
- Ensure adherence to regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments
- Apply Six Sigma methodologies to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements for quality enhancement
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Oversee supplier quality assurance programs, including supplier audits and qualification processes
- Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure quality standards are understood and met across departments
- Lead training initiatives on HACCP, CGMP, GAMP, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and other relevant quality systems
- Manage documentation related to quality assurance activities, including reports, audit findings, and compliance records
- Support new product development by integrating quality assurance principles from design through production
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of HACCP, CGMP, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations related to manufacturing
- Proven experience in conducting quality audits and implementing quality standards in production environments
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards applicable to manufacturing industries
- Expertise in Six Sigma manufacturing principles and Lean management techniques
- Proficiency in Quality inspection tools such as GD&T and analysis skills for defect identification
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration across departments
- Familiarity with Quality systems software and document control procedures
- Ability to analyze complex data sets to inform decision-making processes
