WFQ Inc. has an immediate opening for a Lead Stamping Technician for one of our customers in Plymouth. to oversee the metal stamping process from start to finish. In this energetic role, you will lead a team of skilled technicians, ensure the precision and quality of stamped metal components, and maintain optimal machine performance. Rate of pay $20.00 hr
Responsibilities
- Lead setup, calibration, and operation of stamping presses and forming machines to produce high-quality metal parts
- Oversee machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and optimize performance
- Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to guide accurate stamping and forming processes
- Implement safety protocols, enforce safety standards in production areas, and conduct regular safety audits

Requirements
- Proven experience operating stamping presses, forming machines, and plasma cutting tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical blueprints (GD&T)
- Familiarity with welding techniques, electrical discharge machining (EDM), press brake operation, and sheet metal fabrication
- Proficiency with measurement tools for quality control and precision measurement in machining
- Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and strict adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Pay: $20.00 per hour
