Lenox Executive Search is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to fill an 6++ month extendable contract role with a global pharmaceutical company in Framingham, MA. Must have 2+ years in a dedicated experience in commercial HVAC role and have previous experience Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in a 24/7, regulated facility.
REQUIREMENTS for the Commercial HVAC Technician:
- 2+ years in a dedicated experience in commercial HVAC role
- High School Diploma is the minimum education required
- Previous experience: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in a 24/7, regulated facility.
- EPA Certification required
- Experience with (AHUs), chillers, boilers, and cleanroom HVAC systems.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics, and documentation
- Will requires climbing ladders, working in confined space, LOTO, hot work permit
- Will work in cold rooms
- Exposure to chemicals such as glycol, utilities, IPA, spor-klenz and refrigerant
- Experience operating a Scissor list, boom lift.
- GMP experience a big plus
- Any additional licenses or trade certs or licenses a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Commercial HVAC Technician:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in a 24/7, cGMP-regulated facility
- Work with air handling units (AHUs), chillers, boilers, and cleanroom HVAC systems
- Maintain temperature-controlled environments, including cold and warm rooms.
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics, and documentation
- Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately complete maintenance logs and system documentation.
- Apply strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to system issues.
- Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Support consistent environmental control to meet manufacturing and facility standards.
Work schedule is as follows:
Two-week cycle - 36 Hours 1st week; 48 hours 2nd week; must work every other Sunday
Week 1:Sunday ON Monday Off Tuesday Off Wednesday On Thursday On Friday Off Saturday Off
Week 2:Sunday Off Monday On Tuesday On Wednesday Off Thursday Off Friday On Saturday On
