About the Job
Due to our ongoing growth, we are looking for an experienced commercial HVAC Installer, familiar with heavy equipment, interested in utilizing their knowledge base in the commercial and industrial heating and cooling market. Our work includes:
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· To install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience.
· Works in various installation, repair, maintenance and service capacities individually, and as part of a crew.
· Occasional diagnosis of malfunctioning equipment to determine cause and appropriate corrective action.
· Reads blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals as applicable to new installations or assigned work orders.
· Installs or replaces components including, but not limited to, package units, rooftop units, pumps, motors, bearings, condensers, compressors, and automated controls
· Performs physically demanding tasks related to installation and repair of HVAC systems, i.e. installing conduit and control wiring; piping, refrigerant recovery, and other HVAC repair services.
· Performs preventive maintenance tasks according to established protocols
· Completes required documentation (i.e. work orders, purchase orders, commissioning and startup paperwork, etc.…) for services performed.
· Performs cleaning and maintenance of equipment, tools, materials, and vehicles utilized; ensures adherence to principles and practices of safe equipment use and operation.
· All other duties or tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
· Must have a High School Diploma or GED
· Must have valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record
· Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check & Drug Test
· Minimum 3 years of verifiable employment within the industry
· Basic Safety Knowledge of Tools, Equipment, and Jobsite Safety
· Acquire EPA certification within 3 months of entering position
· Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes.
· Complies with all company policies.
· Follow directions as given, both written and verbal.
Extra Consideration will be made to candidates that have any of the following:
· Formal Training or developed skills in packaged, rooftop, or heat-pump units
· OSHA 10 Safety Training
· Military Training in mechanical, electrical, electronics (especially USN MM or HT Ratings)
· Verifiable experience installing or fabricating metal duct
· Experience installing mid-size to large commercial refrigeration and HVAC units
· Commercial/Industrial electrical experience
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range Dependent Upon Experience but highly competitive. (We will pay top money for technicians at the top of their field). We offer an outstanding comprehensive benefit package that includes:
