Overview
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and be proficient in the use of power tools. This role involves working on various construction projects, ensuring that all finishes meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. The Finish Carpenter will play a crucial role in transforming spaces by installing and finishing woodwork, cabinetry, and flooring.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Construct and install custom cabinetry, moldings, trim work, and other finish carpentry elements.
- Perform flooring installation with precision, ensuring a seamless finish.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
- Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation as needed to maintain structural integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as a carpenter with a focus on finish carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of construction site practices and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with metal stud framing is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
