Job Overview
We are seeking a 2nd shift "4:30pm to 2:30am" Mon-Thursday skilled MIG- Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques, including MIG and FCAW, and possess a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Welder will work primarily in a manufacturing environment, contributing to the assembly of high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and ASME codes.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
- Inspect completed welds for quality assurance using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Engage in continuous learning of new welding techniques and technologies relevant to the industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience in MIG welding; additional skills in TIG welding are a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes, including assembly, machining, soldering, plasma cutting, and operating press brake machines.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during projects.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
