Welder/Fabricator
We are very busy and fast-paced metal fabrication shop seeking welder fabricator to become an integral part of our team! The role of a fabricator is to assemble various kinds of ornamental and/or structural steel pieces in a timely manner while delivering a quality product without mistakes or errors.
Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities:
- Fabricate finished metal products by assigned deadlines
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications to avoid errors
- Calculate materials needed and create cut lists
- Evaluate weld quality and tolerance to meet specific standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience welding
- Proficiency in dual shield welding
- Proficiency in hardwire mig welding
- Experience in ornamental fabrication and layout
- Must be able to ready blue prints
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Able to fabricate stringers, stair railings, and deck railings.
