Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Collision Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by performing a wide range of repair and refinishing tasks. Your expertise in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and welding techniques will ensure that every vehicle is repaired to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Perform collision repairs including structural realignment, sheet metal work, and auto body repairs using MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques.
- Utilize automotive welding equipment and power tools to repair or replace damaged panels, frames, and other structural components.
- Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs.
- Install automotive parts including glass, bumpers, trim, and mechanical components with precision and care.
- Use hand tools and fabrication skills to create custom parts or repair damaged sheet metal for various vehicle makes and models.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards through thorough inspections and quality control checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting, welding, sanding, and other technical procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or collision repair specialist in a dealership or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, sheet metal work, and automotive cosmetic techniques.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication repair techniques using automotive welding equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including auto parts installation and auto glass replacement.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and detailing supplies.
- Experience with auto estimating software is a plus; excellent customer service skills are essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during all phases of repair work.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
