Residential Electrician / Remodeling Specialist
Kellett Remodeling – Newark, Ohio
Pay: $25–$35 per hour, based on experience
Kellett Remodeling is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual with residential electrical experience to join our team.
We're an established remodeling company that handles everything from small home repairs to complete home renovations. We're looking for someone who has a strong understanding of residential electrical systems and is also comfortable helping with other aspects of remodeling.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform residential electrical installation and repair work within applicable licensing and supervision requirements
- Assist with wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, and fixtures
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
- Assist with kitchen, bathroom, basement, and other residential remodeling projects
- Perform general construction and repair tasks as needed
- Work independently on tasks you're qualified and authorized to perform, and collaborate with other team members
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
Qualifications
- Previous residential electrical experience
- Good understanding of electrical systems and safety practices
- Electrical trade school or apprenticeship training preferred
- Electrical license is a plus but not required for consideration
- Experience in other construction trades is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn and assist with other remodeling tasks
