Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Overhead Crane Operator to support crane operators in a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment. This position involves assisting with the safe movement of steel materials, loading and unloading products, material handling, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, able to perform physical labor, and works well as part of a team.
Job Duties:
- Operate overhead cranes to safely move and position steel/materials
- Load, unload, lift, and transport heavy materials throughout the facility
- Use proper rigging equipment and follow safe lifting procedures
- Inspect crane and rigging equipment before use
- Assist with staging and organizing materials
- Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience required.
- Heavy industrial or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance is required.
Location: Northside Area (Near the Stockyards)
Pay: $18/hr
Weekday Shifts
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM–5:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 5:00 PM–5:00 AM
Weekend Shifts
- 1st Shift: Friday–Sunday | 5:00 AM–5:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: Friday–Sunday | 5:00 PM–5:00 AM
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
