Shift: 1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday (potential OT)
Rate: $21.00-$24.00 (based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Skilled Machine Operator to join a steel fabrication shop in Cincinnati! This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills, manufacturing experience, and the ability to read a tape measure and work with fractions. Candidates with CNC machine operation experience are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC equipment to fabricate and form flat sheet metal, including turret punches and shears.
- Fabricate aluminum extrusions using CNC machinery and conventional equipment.
- Operate mills, drills, saws, and various hand tools.
- Read and interpret measurements, including fractions, using a tape measure.
- Follow work instructions and maintain quality standards throughout the fabrication process.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing or steel fabrication experience preferred.
- CNC machine operation experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and understand fractions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude, dependable work history, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a steel fabrication shop environment.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Machine operation: 3 years (Required)
- CNC: 2 years (Preferred)
- Fabrication: 2 years (Preferred)
