What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems.
- Inspect and service electrical panels, wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, and circuits.
- Perform electrical panel upgrades, circuit installations, rewiring, and other residential electrical repairs.
- Identify electrical safety issues and recommend appropriate solutions to homeowners.
- Install electrical fixtures, appliances, surge protection, EV chargers, and generators, as qualified.
- Explain technical findings, repair recommendations, available options, and pricing clearly to customers.
- Present solutions and handle sales opportunities generated through company-provided leads.
- Complete approved electrical repairs and installations to a high standard.
- Prepare accurate estimates, service documentation, and job records.
- Follow applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Build customer trust through professionalism, punctuality, and quality workmanship.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of residential electrical service experience preferred.
- Experience in electrical service and sales, including troubleshooting, presenting repair options, and completing installations.
- Strong knowledge of residential wiring, electrical panels, circuits, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs independently.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safety requirements.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain technical issues and recommended solutions clearly to homeowners.
- Comfortable working with company-provided leads and converting service opportunities into completed sales and installations.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a performance-based compensation structure.
- Relevant electrical training, certifications, or licensing as required.
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physical fieldwork.
