Job Summary
We are seeking experienced PCW TIG Welders to join our construction team supporting semiconductor facility projects at TSMC. The ideal candidate will have experience welding stainless steel piping systems, reading construction drawings, and performing high-quality TIG (GTAW) welds in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Candidates must be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with pipefitters, foremen, and other construction team members.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG weld PCW stainless steel pipes and fittings according to approved drawings and welding procedures.
- Read and follow isometric drawings, piping layouts, and project specifications.
- Prepare, align, fit, and weld pipe joints to meet quality standards.
- Follow WPS, quality control requirements, and inspection procedures.
- Coordinate with pipefitters, foremen, and supervisors to complete assigned work.
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and a clean work area.
- Follow all company, contractor, and TSMC site safety requirements.
- Complete work on schedule and report quality or safety issues promptly.
Qualifications
- TIG (GTAW) welding experience required, preferably with stainless steel piping.
- PCW piping or semiconductor construction experience preferred.
- Previous TSMC project experience highly preferred.
- Ability to read piping and isometric drawings.
- Knowledge of pipe preparation, fit-up, and weld quality standards.
- Must follow job-site safety procedures and work well with a team.
- Welding certifications or qualifications preferred.
Pay: $30.00 - $64.15 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
