We are looking for a skilled and dependable Sheet Metal Shop Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience with TIG welding, be able to read and understand blueprints, and be proficient in using common shop tools and equipment.
Job Requirements
- Must have experience in TIG welding.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret fabrication blueprints and shop drawings.
- Experience working with sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficient in using common hand tools and power tools, including grinders, drills, measuring tapes, squares, and clamps.
- Ability to accurately measure, fit, and assemble metal components.
- Produce clean, accurate, and high-quality welds.
- Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on sheet metal components.
- Fabricate and assemble parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Inspect welds and finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Operate shop tools and equipment safely.
- Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
