Licensed Plumbing Contractor – Custom Water Filtration Installations

TrueFlow Filtration Co • Contract • Plano, Texas, United States • $125 - $175 / hour • 1w ago

TrueFlow Filtration is a locally owned and growing water treatment company serving homeowners throughout North Dallas and the surrounding DFW area. We specialize in whole-home water softeners, carbon filtration systems, and reverse osmosis drinking water systems.

We're looking to establish a long-term relationship with an experienced plumbing contractor who specializes in non-standard residential installations requiring additional plumbing work, extended water lines, and trenching.

We already have contractors handling our standard installations. This opportunity is specifically for the more complex projects that require additional plumbing experience and creative, cost-effective solutions.

As our business grows, we're looking for a dependable contractor we can regularly call upon for these installations.

What You'll Be Doing

Many homes in our service area have the main water supply entering at the front of the property while the garage is located at the rear. These homes often require additional plumbing work to install a whole-home water treatment system.

Responsibilities include:

Running new water lines from the home's main water supply to a rear garage or alternative equipment location.
Trenching and installing underground water lines when necessary.
Installing PEX or other code-approved plumbing materials.
Connecting whole-home water softener and filtration systems to the home's plumbing.
Evaluating alternative installation locations, including outdoor installations when appropriate.
Identifying efficient plumbing routes that minimize unnecessary labor and material costs.
Providing accurate, competitive installation estimates.
Performing pressure testing, leak checks, and final system testing.
Ensuring all work meets applicable plumbing codes and permitting requirements.
Leaving the customer's property clean and professionally finished.

What We're Looking For

We're specifically seeking a contractor who has experience with residential water-line installations, repiping, and more involved plumbing projects.

Requirements:

Active Texas plumbing or water treatment licensing appropriate for the work performed, including any required Responsible Master Plumber (RMP) designation for plumbing contracting.
Operate as an independent contractor or established plumbing business.
Carry appropriate general liability insurance covering residential plumbing and water treatment installations.
Experience with residential water service lines, plumbing tie-ins, and extended water-line installations.
Experience with trenching and underground plumbing.
Own tools, equipment, and reliable transportation.
Ability to provide installation estimates following a site visit or review of project details.
Dependable, punctual, and professional when working with homeowners.
Proof of licensing and insurance required before performing installations.

Competitive Pricing Is Important

Compensation is project-based, not hourly. The advertised hourly range of $125–$175 is an estimate for comparison purposes only. Final compensation is agreed upon in advance based on the scope and complexity of each installation.

One of our biggest priorities is finding a contractor who can provide cost-effective solutions for more challenging installations without sacrificing quality.

We understand these projects require more labor and materials than standard installations. However, keeping the total installation cost reasonable is important so we can offer homeowners competitive pricing.

We're looking for someone who can evaluate each property, identify the most efficient installation method, and provide fair, consistent pricing.

Our goal is to build a relationship that benefits both businesses through repeat work rather than one-time projects.

Compensation & Opportunities

Project-based compensation determined by the installation scope.
More involved projects quoted individually.
Opportunities for repeat installations as our customer volume increases.
Flexible scheduling coordinated around customer and contractor availability.
TrueFlow provides the water treatment equipment.
Additional plumbing materials and labor responsibilities will be agreed upon for each project.
Potential for a long-term installation partnership.

Why Partner With TrueFlow?

We're actively investing in marketing and expanding our customer base throughout North Dallas and surrounding communities.

Our goal is to develop relationships with reliable contractors who can grow alongside us as installation volume increases.

We handle customer acquisition, equipment sales, and customer communication. We're looking for an experienced plumbing partner who can handle the more challenging installations professionally and efficiently.
