JA Kitchen & Bath is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Carpenter’s Apprentice with a minimum of three years of hands-on carpentry experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in carpentry, a strong work ethic, and a desire to continue developing their skills while assisting with high-quality residential remodeling and finish carpentry projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with finish carpentry, including trim, molding, stairs, railings, and other custom carpentry work.
- Support kitchen and bath remodeling projects as needed.
- Measure, cut, fit, and install materials accurately.
- Assist with jobsite preparation, cleanup, and organization.
- Safely operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment.
- Follow project specifications and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Work alongside experienced carpenters and installers to complete projects efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on carpentry experience required.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Experience with finish carpentry is preferred.
- Ability to read measurements, follow instructions, and work from project specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic.
- Ability to work independently when appropriate and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and develop advanced carpentry skills.
