The primary function of the Fire Sprinkler Technician is to install, troubleshoot, service and repair fire sprinkler systems, and other fire safety products with minimal supervision. This position is a multi-tier position with multiple levels based on certification and training.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Perform complex fire sprinkler system service and repair.
Perform complex fire sprinkler system repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
Maintain relationships with major accounts and multi-location accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
● Must have a driver's license and have a clean driving record for at least 3 years. ● Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screening. ● Trade school/High school diploma. ● At least one year experience in inspection, installation, maintenance and repair of commercial grade sprinkler alarm systems is preferred. ● Ability to climb ladders, competently operate necessary tools and equipment (computers, hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, meters, etc.), and carry and move material. ● Ability to complete site surveys, identify code issues, and provide solutions. ● Must be self-motivated, needing little direct supervision. ● Knowledge of sprinkler alarm systems. ● Install, inspect, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in accordance with industry standards and local codes. ● Perform routine service and testing of fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance. ● Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of sprinkler systems as needed. ● Document all work performed using online reporting tools, ensuring accurate and timely records. ● Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high safety standards. ● Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining technical details in a clear, professional manner. ● Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines with minimal supervision. ● Knowledge of ServiceTrade is highly preferred. ● Able to work rotation of being on-call for emergency calls. ● Ability to effectively work/interact with customers on a daily basis. ● Provide a clean and professional appearance. ● NICET Certification preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
