Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians with the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of data center HVAC systems and supporting infrastructure.
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment such as air and water-cooled chillers, centrifugal and screw package chillers, natural gas boilers, unit heaters, electric duct heaters, cooling towers, and water pumps.
Support the maintenance and operation of HVAC air distribution systems, including air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), fans, and related devices.
Work with pneumatic, direct digital control (DDC), and variable frequency drive (VFD) controls under supervision.
Maintain assigned equipment in a clean, efficient, and first-class operating condition.
Strive for continual improvement of technical skills through hands-on experience and trade literature.
Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and excel in the HVAC industry.
Perform after-hours assignments as required.
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

Must be a US citizen.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to work night shift
Minimum of 1 year of HVAC service experience required; 2 years preferred.
Basic knowledge of refrigeration principles.
Working knowledge of basic electricity as it applies to HVAC systems and diagnostic tools.
Ability to perform work thoroughly and neatly in accordance with industry standards, codes, and laws.
Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills in the HVAC field.

Offered compensation: $22/hr - $30/hr
