Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Fire Sprinkler Service Apprentice with basic knowledge of construction and pipe fitting, and 1–2 years of hands-on experience in construction, plumbing, or a related trade, to join our growing team. This role supports the inspection, service, repair, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems under the direction of experienced technicians and is ideal for individuals looking to build a long-term career in fire protection.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems
Support licensed technicians in ensuring systems comply with NFPA standards and local codes
Perform basic construction and pipe-fitting tasks, including measuring, cutting, threading, and fitting pipe
Safely operate hand and power tools used in sprinkler service work
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Follow all company, job-site, and OSHA safety procedures
Provide professional and courteous service while working at customer locations
Assist senior technicians with additional assigned tasks as needed

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in construction, plumbing, pipe fitting, or a related trade
Basic knowledge of construction practices and pipe-fitting techniques required
Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn the fire protection trade
Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings (preferred, not required)
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights using ladders or lifts
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
