About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Controls & Low Voltage Manager to lead Building Automation Systems (BAS) operations across commercial and institutional projects in Honolulu. This is a leadership role overseeing controls technicians, service contracts, and project execution.

If you have a strong foundation in HVAC controls, BAS platforms, and team leadership, this is a long-term opportunity with a respected organization working on high-profile projects across Hawai‘i.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage BAS / Controls technicians and service teams
Oversee controls projects and service contracts from start to finish
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams
Ensure systems are installed, programmed, and commissioned properly
Support troubleshooting, upgrades, and ongoing system optimization
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high service standards

What We’re Looking For

10+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) or HVAC Controls
Strong experience with platforms such as:
Niagara
BACnet
Modbus
LonWorks
Proven leadership experience managing controls teams or service divisions
Experience supporting commercial, healthcare, federal, higher education, or industrial projects
Background with major BAS providers or integrators such as:
Johnson Controls
Honeywell
Siemens
Schneider Electric
Trane
Solid understanding of HVAC mechanical systems and controls integration

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
