Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed electrician to join our dynamic team, bringing expertise in electrical systems across various construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes, schematics, and installation techniques, ensuring safe and efficient electrical solutions. Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and construction environments using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring layouts.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters and multimeters, ensuring accurate diagnostics.
Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, adhering strictly to safety protocols and NEC standards.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation activities on construction sites.
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks in industrial settings.
Conduct renovations by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure while minimizing disruption.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes during every phase of work.
Assist in training or mentoring apprentices or junior electricians when required.
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for project records and inspections.

Experience

Valid license as a professional electrician with proven experience in industrial and commercial electrical projects.
Demonstrated expertise in industrial electrician work, including control systems and automation components such as PLCs.
Prior construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety standards and site protocols.
Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage installations.
Skilled in using various hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and schematics for troubleshooting and installation.
Experience with renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or modifications within existing structures.
Knowledge of NEC regulations governing residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work.
Additional handyman skills such as frame carpentry or general construction knowledge are advantageous but not mandatory.
