NDT Technician

Perform non-destructive testing on a variety of sheet metal aircraft components.

Functions and Responsibilities

Follow established NDT technique sheets and ensures any revisions to established techniques meet Exotic and customer requirements.
Support the NDT Technician 1 and provide assistance with inspection.
The ability to generate x-ray film for parts with simple and complex geometry.
Detect faulty processes and bring to the attention of applicable NDT Tech or Supervisor.
Interpret and follow written instructions, sketches, schedules, drawings and documents.

Skills and Experience

Certified in FPI, Radiographic and Digital X-Ray Inspection.
Able to read and understand manufacturing planning, engineering blueprints and sketches.
Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Knowledge of shop math and precision measurement equipment.

Pay: $27.90 - $42.30 per hour
