Maintenance Electrician Lead, Sylmar CA

Pay: $39.28-41.67 per hour, based on experience, plus $1.50 shift differential.

Shift: Second, 2:45pm-11:15pm, Monday-Friday

As a Maintenance Electrician Lead you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and mentor the maintenance team to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
Inspect equipment and facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational problems and implement effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards, promoting a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and address maintenance-related concerns.
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and cost control.
Train maintenance staff on new equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
Assist in budgeting and cost control related to maintenance operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with maintenance management software (CMMS) is a plus.
Relevant certifications or technical training in maintenance or engineering fields.
