Pay Range: $22-$30 per hour

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 3 years as a service electrician
Electrical License is a plus!
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Ability to identify wiring accurately and to code
Ability to perform electrical tests, read results, and diagnose and repair electrical problems

Responsibilities:

Inspect electrical components, including wiring, panels, voltage, and related systems
Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems
Provide excellent customer service to residential & commercial customers
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Adhere to state and local building regulations and electrical codes
Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lighting, and wiring
Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components
Perform all work in accordance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards
Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functionality
Complete required documentation of repairs, installations, and service calls
Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and replacement parts
Calibrate equipment to provided specifications
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
Troubleshoot electrical issues and make timely, effective repairs
Install standby and portable generators in residential settings, including electrical connections and system integration
Perform generator start-ups, testing, and commissioning to ensure proper operation
Diagnose, repair, and service generator systems, including engines, transfer switches, and control panels
Conduct routine maintenance on generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections
Troubleshoot generator malfunctions and restore systems to full functionality
Ensure proper load calculations and safe connection to existing electrical systems
Educate customers on generator operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
Maintain compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes for generator systems
