Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Federal Construction Senior Project Manager specializing in Heavy Civil projects to lead complex infrastructure initiatives. In this role, you will oversee all phases of large-scale federal construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in heavy civil construction, project management, and federal contract requirements will drive project success from inception through completion. Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of heavy civil federal construction projects, including roads, bridges, dams, and other infrastructure.
Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to ensure timely milestones are met.
Manage project budgets and cost estimates utilizing Construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid and Civil 3D to maintain financial control.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with federal standards and specifications.
Oversee construction site activities ensuring safety protocols are followed diligently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Utilize tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for document control, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports to keep project documentation accurate and accessible.
Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling and reporting; proactively address issues to minimize delays.
Ensure adherence to federal regulations related to construction management and environmental compliance.
Foster a collaborative team environment focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing large-scale heavy civil or federal construction projects with a strong track record of successful delivery.
Extensive knowledge of construction management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and construction estimating processes.
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with federal contracting procedures and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams across complex projects.
Effective time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
