Position Summary:

Morris Heating and Cooling is seeking a highly skilled and driven Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Installer to join our expanding team. This person will focus on the installation of commercial HVAC and electrical systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced working on active commercial job sites.

Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 (experience based)

Schedule:

Full time position | Monday – Friday
Overtime opportunities available

Work Location:

Based in Kentucky – with a requirement to travel throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana

Key Responsibilities:

Install Commercial Sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and HVAC components
Read and interpret mechanical drawings
Measure, cut, assemble and hang duct systems accurately and efficiently
Seal and insulate duct systems to meet code and project requirements
Coordinate work with leads and helpers on the jobs
Maintain job site safety and follow OSHA/company safety policies
Properly use and care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles
Complete work within scheduled deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Perform diagnostics and resolve issues with HVAC systems.

Qualifications:

Kentucky Journeyman License (Preferred)
EPA certification or Universal EPA Certification (Required)
Experience in new construction and commercial HVAC installation
Required travel
Solid understanding of HVAC systems and electrical components
Familiar with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
Skilled in operating heavy machinery and tools, including welding equipment
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Able to perform well in dynamic, fast-paced environments
Physically able to lift heavy equipment and work in varied conditions, including confined spaces and heights
Efficiently meet deadlines and ability to shift priorities as needed
