We are hiring an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to support commercial projects throughout Central Florida. This role requires hands-on experience installing, programming, testing, and commissioning fire alarm systems. Experience with Siemens fire alarm systems is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and modify commercial fire alarm systems
Program, test, commission, and troubleshoot fire alarm control panels and devices
Perform inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA 72 and local AHJ requirements
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and fire alarm shop drawings
Coordinate with project managers, electricians, inspectors, and fire officials
Complete inspection and testing documentation accurately and on time
Maintain safe, clean, and organized jobsites

Requirements

3+ years of experience working with commercial fire alarm systems
Ability to independently install, program, test, and troubleshoot systems
Solid knowledge of NFPA 72
Experience working under a licensed Florida electrical or alarm contractor
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
NICET Level I or II – Fire Alarm Systems or Inspection & Testing

Preferred (Not Required)

Siemens fire alarm system experience
Florida Fire Alarm System Agent (FASA) certification
Experience with acceptance testing and AHJ coordination
