Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems, ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly and meet safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Alarm Technician will work closely with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions for their security requirements.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair various types of alarm systems including fire alarms and security alarms.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings to ensure accurate installation.
Conduct field service inspections to assess system performance and identify necessary repairs or upgrades.
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper integration of alarm systems within building designs.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks.
Provide technical support to clients regarding system operation and troubleshooting.
Stay updated on industry standards, including NEC regulations related to low voltage systems.
Assist in alarm system sales by providing technical expertise during client consultations.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of system design principles.
Knowledge of construction inspection processes
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in field service environments.
Familiarity with electrical systems, sensors, and low voltage applications.
Previous experience in alarm system sales or fire alarm sales is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various construction settings.

Requirement

2 Year of Experience, of Any of the Following system Vista, Ge, and Dsc.

WILLINGNESS TO ATTEND CLASS TO AQUIRE YOUR LOW VOLTAGE LICENSE, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
