Duties

Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites or in existing structures
Support team members in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate project execution
Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision
Help with cutting, fitting, and assembling pipes and fixtures for various plumbing applications including HVAC systems
Participate in remodeling projects by performing basic carpentry, handyman tasks, and system upgrades
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Learn to troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with field service tasks to ensure optimal system performance

Skills

Basic understanding of construction practices and construction site safety procedures
Familiarity with plumbing systems, schematics, and blueprint reading techniques
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines confidently
Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, pipe installation, and maintenance procedures
Strong basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations
Experience or interest in carpentry, remodeling, or general handyman work is a plus
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and following detailed instructions
