Overview
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems and mechanical systems, with the ability to work efficiently on commercial and residential projects. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality installations, repairs, and remodels across various sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential settings.
Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to complete projects efficiently.
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites or during maintenance tasks.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to plumbing systems and perform field service repairs promptly.
Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards.
Assist in the assembly of plumbing components and systems according to specifications.
Read schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate installation and repair procedures.
Maintain a clean work environment and document work performed for project records.

Experience

Proven experience in installation and repair of piping systems in commercial or residential settings.
Skilled in pipe threading, and working with hand tools and power tools.
Knowledge of schematics, and mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems.
Ability to perform lifting safely for extended periods during project execution.
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data.
This position requires a valid license where applicable, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on diverse projects.

Pay: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour
