We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the professional installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Your primary goal is to ensure all equipment is installed safely, efficiently, and according to local building codes and manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

System Installation: Mount and install HVAC units, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers.
Piping & Ductwork: Install copper refrigerant lines (brazing/soldering), gas lines, and both metal and flex duct systems.
Electrical Connectivity: Layout and connect both line-voltage and low-voltage wiring for systems and controls.
Testing & Startup: Perform system startups to adjust airflows, set gas pressures, and verify refrigerant charges using diagnostic tools.
Compliance & Safety: Adhere to OSHA safety standards and local building codes to ensure safe operations.
Customer Education: Demonstrate new system operations to clients and provide maintenance recommendations to ensure longevity.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: High school diploma or GED required; completion of a trade school HVAC program is highly preferred.
Experience: 2–5 years of professional HVAC installation experience.
Certifications: EPA Section 608 Certification is mandatory for handling refrigerants. NATE certification is a plus.
Tools: Proficiency with hand and power tools, multimeters, manifold gauges, and vacuum pumps. (Must have own hand tools)
Driving: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for travel to job sites.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment (up to 50–100 lbs).
Comfortable working in confined spaces such as attics, crawl spaces, and on rooftops.
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
