Razorback Electric Inc. – South Florida

Razorback Electric Inc. is a growing, well-established electrical contractor serving South Florida. We specialize in new construction and high-end residential/commercial projects and are seeking a strong, field-experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee projects from rough-in through final trim.

This is not a desk-only position — we’re looking for someone who understands the field, can lead crews, manage GCs, protect margins, and drive projects to completion.

ResponsibilitiesPre-Construction & Planning

Review blueprints and specifications
Perform takeoffs and material planning
Coordinate with GC and other trades
Develop rough and trim schedules
Identify conflicts before work begins

Rough Phase Management

Oversee underground and slab coordination
Manage wall and ceiling rough
Schedule and pass inspections
Track labor hours vs. budget
Capture and process change orders

Trim Phase Management

Coordinate fixture deliveries and submittals
Schedule trim crews efficiently
Manage punch lists
Prepare projects for final inspection and CO
Ensure high-quality finished product

Administrative & Financial Oversight

Monitor job costing and profitability
Approve and manage field timesheets
Control labor productivity
Communicate effectively with office and field teams
Maintain detailed project documentation

Qualifications

10+ years of electrical field experience (required)
2+ years in a supervisory or project management role preferred
Strong understanding of NEC and local codes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints fluently
Experience coordinating directly with General Contractors
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience with Buildertrend or similar project management software preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
