Job Summary
Selland Construction, Inc. is a Heavy Civil contractor. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to join our construction team. This role involves preparing accurate project estimates, managing project execution, and ensuring successful completion within scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction estimating expertise, project management skills, and experience with contract negotiations to support our company's growth and client satisfaction.

Duties

Develop comprehensive construction estimates using Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating software.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine cost factors and pricing strategies.
Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to negotiate contracts and pricing terms effectively.
Prepare detailed bid proposals and assist in the bidding process to secure new projects.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources throughout the construction lifecycle.
Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project specifications.
Monitor cost control measures and implement strategies to optimize project profitability.
Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.
Maintain accurate documentation related to contracts, change orders, and project progress reports.
Lead project meetings, resolve issues promptly, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction estimating and project management within the construction industry.
Proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other relevant estimating or project management software.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contract terms.
Knowledge of construction site operations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Experience with cost control, pricing strategies, and contract administration.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with clients, team members, and vendors.
Construction site experience is highly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field is advantageous but not mandatory. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
