We're now seeking a talented professional to join us as a Construction Superintendent (with integrated project management responsibilities) for our active project located in the downtown/Stockyards area of Fort Worth, Texas.

This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role perfect for a motivated individual who excels in on-site construction environments, possesses strong technical skills, and has practical experience in site development—especially grading and earthwork operations.

About the Role

As our On-Site Superintendent, you will be the key on-site leader, managing daily field operations while taking on select project management duties to drive project success from groundbreaking through completion. You'll work from a mobile office trailer directly on the site and handle opening and securing the project each day.

Key Responsibilities

Open and close the construction site daily, ensuring full security, safety compliance, and operational readiness for crews and subcontractors.
Oversee all on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors, labor, equipment, and materials to maintain project schedules and budgets.
Accurately read, interpret, and execute grading plans, site plans, civil drawings, and construction documents; supervise earthwork, grading, utilities installation, and other site development elements.
Perform daily inspections to monitor quality, safety, and progress; maintain accurate field logs, daily reports, photos, and documentation.
Manage core project coordination tasks, including scheduling, resource planning, problem-solving, and regular communication with corporate project managers and stakeholders.
Enforce strict safety standards, promote a clean and organized work environment, and proactively resolve on-site issues.
Leverage computers, tablets, and mobile apps for email, reporting, digital plan review, project tracking software, and photo documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

Demonstrated experience supervising construction sites, ideally in industrial/commercial land development, civil/site work, grading, or earthmoving projects.
Solid knowledge of grading plans, site preparation, excavation/earthmoving techniques, and overall construction sequencing.
Strong computer and technology proficiency (Microsoft Office/365, email, project management tools, PDF plan viewers, mobile apps, etc.).
Must reside in the Fort Worth area (or within the immediate DFW region) with a commute of no more than 30 minutes to the project site in the downtown/Stockyards area for reliable daily presence and quick response.
Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
Ability to work independently and thrive in an outdoor field setting while upholding high standards of quality and safety.
Relevant certifications (ex: OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR) are advantageous but not mandatory.
