Thornton Heating Service is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a technician who can independently diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems while delivering professional customer service. Experience with generators and pool dehumidification systems is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues and repair options
Complete service documentation accurately
Maintain safe, clean, and professional job sites

Qualifications

3–5 years of HVAC service experience
EPA Certification required
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Experience with generators and pool dehumidification systems is a plus
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
