Join WITRON as a Construction Project Manager

The Construction Project Manager holds overall responsibility for the successful execution of customer projects at the respective project site. They ensure that all on-site work is completed on time, cost-effectively, with high quality, and in compliance with applicable safety standards. Acting as the central interface between customers, internal departments, and external partners, they coordinate all areas involved in the project and conduct regular meetings with PM, mechanical coordinators, project managers, and site managers to guarantee smooth operations

Primary Responsibilities

Project Coordination and On-Site Execution

Overall responsibility for successful realization of the customer project at the site

Steering and coordination of all on-site areas and regular meetings with PM/mechanical coordinators/project managers/site managers

Representing the project in internal and external meetings Schedule, Cost and Quality Control

Ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget, and quality standards

Early identification of risks and initiation of appropriate countermeasures Safety Management

Establishing and monitoring all safety requirements on-site

Conducting random checks

Coordination with safety and health coordinators and relevant authorities

Documentation and Reporting

Complete and accurate documentation of all project-related activities

Coordination of acceptance of all necessary services on-site

Logging deficiencies and creating/archiving all relevant site documents

Education & Experience

Completed technical or mechanical training, alternatively a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or a comparable discipline

Skills & Knowledge

Several years of professional experience in project or site management, preferably in mechanical engineering or industrial assembly, as well as experience working with international teams and subcontractors

Solid knowledge of relevant standards and regulations in occupational safety and site management

Experience in leading interdisciplinary teams and coordinating complex project structures

Excellent skills in project management software, MS Office, and CAD programs

Fluent German and English skills, plus willingness to travel

Scheduling & Travel

Occasional travel within North America may be required to undergo training and/or support sister sites; rare international travel may be necessary in support of company-wide initiatives

Must be able to work all shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Must be available by phone 24/7 in the event of irregular operations and/or escalation

Physical Requirements

Ability to work at heights of 80-100 feet

Ability to adapt to a warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from +34 degrees to -15 degrees

Ability to lift and carry materials/equipment necessary to do the job

Ability to walk/stand during a designated shift

Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 pounds
