Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Plumbing Estimator with a strong background in large commercial or industrial plumbing projects. This role is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates to support our bidding and pre-construction efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to prepare detailed plumbing cost estimates.
Perform material take-offs and develop labor and material cost breakdowns.
Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
Develop and submit competitive bid proposals in a timely and organized manner.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure estimates align with project scope, goals, and budgets.
Maintain historical cost data and pricing databases for use in future estimates.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather essential project information.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing estimation for commercial or industrial projects.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing.
Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and construction practices.
Proficiency with estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel).
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret construction documents.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
