Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CT) (extended hours when requested)

Location: Destin/Panama City Beach, Fl

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will manage the process of leading a team to achieve specific goals within a defined scope, budget, and timeline. The position involves planning, organizing, and monitoring resources to ensure a project is completed successfully, on time, and within budget. Key phases include scope development, engineering, planning, construction, installation, and final QC, and the practice is essential for bringing order to complex tasks and ensuring strategic objectives are met. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, clients and vendors to ensure all projects meet the goals of the business.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Project Planning & Execution:

o Develop comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timeline and deliverables.

o Define project requirements and ensure resources (personnel, equipment and materials) are allocated properly.

o Lead the execution of projects by coordinating tasks, monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as necessary.

· Stakeholder Management:

o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors and internal teams.

o Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns promptly.

o Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to review project goals, timelines, and any changes to the project scope.

· Team Coordination:

o Work closely with the internal project team, including engineers, technicians, and sales, to ensure alignment and efficient project execution.

o Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring accountability and progress towards milestones.

o Monitor team performance and provide necessary guidance to meet project objectives.

· Risk Management:

o Identify potential risks and issues related to the project, including technological, financial, and operational challenges.

o Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize delays or change in scope.

o Address problems and resolve conflicts in a timely and effective manner.

· Budget & Resource Management:

o Assist and provide input on project budgets

o Manage project budgets and ensure that resources are being used efficiently.

o Track and report on expenditures, ensuring that projects stay within financial constraints.

o Proactively forecast project needs and adjust resources accordingly to avoid cost overruns.

· Documentation & Reporting:

o Maintain detailed documentation for all projects, including project plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

o Provide regular project status reports to senior management.

· Performs other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred.

· 3-5 years of experience in project management.

· Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and systems (e.g., wireless, fiber optics, IP networking).

· Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Work Environment:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Some after-hours or on-call work may be required to address network issues or urgent customer needs.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
