Commercial Drywall Estimator / Project Manager

We are partnering with a well-established commercial contractor in the Kennesaw area to hire an Estimator / Project Manager.

This is a true cradle-to-grave role for someone who understands commercial interiors and wants ownership from pursuit through closeout. Our client is looking for a proven professional who can both win work and deliver it profitably.

If you’re currently estimating and managing commercial projects and are confident in your ability to build relationships and run strong margins, this may be worth a confidential conversation. Responsibilities
Estimating & Business Development

Review plans, specs, and bid documents
Perform detailed takeoffs (metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, insulation)
Analyze labor production rates and job costs
Solicit and level subcontractor/supplier pricing
Prepare and submit competitive bids
Build and maintain GC relationships
Follow up on bids to secure awarded projects

Project Management

Develop budgets and schedules
Manage projects from award through final completion
Coordinate field teams, subs, and suppliers
Monitor costs, profitability, and margins
Price and manage change orders
Oversee billing, pay applications, and closeout documentation
Conduct occasional site visits

Qualifications

5+ years in commercial drywall estimating and/or project management
Strong knowledge of metal framing, drywall systems, and acoustical ceilings
Experience working directly with commercial general contractors
Proficiency in Planswift, On-Screen Takeoff, or Bluebeam
Strong understanding of labor production rates and job costing
Existing GC relationships or business development experience preferred
