Duties

Set up, operate, and monitor roll forming machines to produce metal profiles according to detailed blueprints and specifications
Adjust machine settings and tooling to achieve precise dimensions and consistent quality throughout production runs
Conduct routine inspections of finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure specifications are met
Perform quality checks during the manufacturing process, identifying and addressing any defects or inconsistencies promptly
Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all safety protocols, including proper handling of sheet metal and use of hand tools
Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues with the roll former machine or auxiliary equipment such as press brakes or CNC .

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating machinery such as press brake machines, CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, stamping presses, or CNC laser cutters
Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes
Skilled in the use of hand tools, tooling setups, cranes, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment to facilitate smooth operations
Ability to perform basic math calculations essential for machining tolerances and measurements
Familiarity with quality inspection procedures using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
Understanding of safety protocols related to machining operations and material handling in a manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
