We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Journeyman or Master Electrician to join our commercial services team. This role is designed for a technical expert who thrives in complex environments and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and electrical integrity.

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can navigate large-scale commercial systems independently and is willing to step up during emergency calls and overtime to keep our clients operational.

Core Responsibilities

System Maintenance & Install: Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage power distribution, lighting systems, conduits, and switchgear.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Blueprint Proficiency: Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and PEC/NEC codes to ensure all installations are compliant and efficient.
Emergency Response: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide rapid-response repairs for commercial clients during off-hours or emergencies.
Mentorship: Lead and train apprentices, ensuring work quality and safety protocols are followed on-site.

Required Qualifications & Skills

RequirementSpecificationLicensure Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (State-issued).

Experience 4+ years of experience in commercial electrical work.

Technical Savvy Expert knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.

Physical Ability Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights (lifts/scaffolding).

AvailabilityMandatory availability for overtime and emergency "on-call" shifts.

Clean RecordValid driver’s license and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.Work Environment & Expectations

Commercial Focus: Work primarily occurs in retail spaces, office buildings, hospitals, and industrial facilities.
Safety First: Strict adherence to OSHA standards and NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety in the Workplace) is non-negotiable.
