The Encompass Group is partnering with a mechanical contractor that has been around since 1987 that provides expert installation, maintenance, and service for heating, cooling, refrigeration, and building automation systems. Their team is known for professionalism, technical expertise, and a commitment to doing the job right.

They are looking for a motivated and dependable HVAC Service Technician (D2/S2 Licensed) to join our growing commercial service team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who wants to continue building their career while working alongside experienced industry professionals in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do:

Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment
Assist with identifying electrical and mechanical issues
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding job progress and scheduling
Complete accurate service reports and related documentation
Maintain a professional appearance and safe, organized work environment
Deliver excellent customer service on every jobsite

What We’re Looking For

Valid D2 or S2 HVAC license required
Minimum of 2 years of HVAC service or maintenance experience
Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration cycles
Current OSHA certification (Connecticut OSHA certifications expire 5 years after issue)
EPA certification or willingness to obtain
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
