Job Title: Fire Protection Department Manager

Department: Service Operations

Working collaboratively with the Sales Leader, Operations Leader, and Fire Protection Superintendent, the Department Manager drives the following initiatives:

Core Responsibilities

· Promotes an environment of safety

· Upholds Mared Mechanicals standards including Core Values

· Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies

· Responsible for overall departmental profitability

· Follow and implement all service department policies and procedures

· Cultivates new customer relationships in collaboration with Account Executive team

· Receives transactional inside sales requests and new service agreement requests from multiple sources

· Receives monthly service agreement renewal reports and updates agreements before distributing to customers

· Responsible for recruiting and dismissal of departmental employees

· Collaborates with Department Superintendent to oversee a team of Fire Protection Service Technicians

· Hold technicians accountable for meeting promises, maintaining/closing work orders, completion of necessary paperwork and following procedures

· Ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs and maintenance

· Manages small fire protection projects

· Communicates regularly within the Service Operations Teams to ensure that service technicians are being scheduled and dispatched properly by skill and experience levels

Qualifications

· Minimum (5) years of fire sprinkler sales experience

· Management experience is preferred, but not required

· Valid driver’s license

· Strong ability to multi-task

· Working knowledge of fire sprinkler standards and local codes

· Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Proficient use of Microsoft Suite of software including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word

· Ability to learn Mared’s computer-based ERP & work order management systems

· Has excellent time-management and organizational skills

· Ability to climb ladders and move objects up to 50 pounds

Location

· This role is 100% in-office at Mared Mechanical’s Menomonee Falls facility due to collaboration requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
